For second consecutive year and for the second time in its history, Mideast Travel is awarded as World’s Leading Destination Management Company 2019 by the prestigious World Travel Awards, reaching the top of the world.
The Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2019 took place on Thursday, the 28th of November, at the Royal Opera House, in Muscat, Oman. Mrs. Katerina Mousbeh, Managing Director and Mrs. Maria Mousbeh, General Manager of the Group, attended the glamorous ceremony and received the most honorary title, after the announcement of the gold winner of the DMC category.
It is worth noting that Mideast Travel, being the only Greek representative in the category, managed to turn all heads to Greece in 2019. Earlier this year, the Group of Companies was awarded as “Europe’s Leading Destination Management Company” for second consecutive year and as “Greece’s Leading Destination Management Company” for the fifth time in its history.
The “tourism Oscars” received by Mideast Travel place the company among international travel industry giants, reflecting its important position on the global tourism map at national, European and international level.
Leading tourism figures set foot on the red carpet of the 26th annual World Travel Awards this year. The World Travel Awards™ is the most prestigious, comprehensive and sought-after awards program in the global travel and tourism industry. To be voted a World Travel Award™ winner is an accolade which many strive for, but few achieve.
Mrs. Souha Katerina Mousbeh, Managing Director of Mideast Travel, stated: “Our “World’s Leading Destination Management Company 2019” distinction by the World Travel Awards marks a historic victory for our company, as this year we have reached the top of Greece, Europe and the world. It is a great honor having received three internationally recognized awards. Our latest “Oscar” is dedicated to our precious team, the Mideast “family”. At the same time, we owe our awards to the love, trust, loyalty and dedication of our customers over the years. Thank you very much”.
